“You see farther when standing on the shoulders of giants than you will when standing alone.”
Mentorship is a great way you avoid pitfalls you would have fallen into if you decided to take a path all on your own. But a lot of people find it difficult to land a mentor and if you fall in that category. Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that anything is wrong with you at all. While a physical mentor is really important, there are really amazing entrepreneurs doing awemazing things on the internet that you should follow. Make it a habit to read the thoughts of these people, watch them more often, and you sure would learn a whole lot from them.
Don’t stop here, go online and browse on very successful entrepreneurs out there. And then check out YouTube on either a TED Talk or any video they were featured and then follow them if you were more inclined towards their style.
But these guys I want to talk about are people I fully recommend to you.
My most favourite! This guy is a true maverick and his energy level is just astounding. Belarusian-American Entrepreneur, Speaker and Author. Came to the limelight when he grew his family business net-worth from $3 million to $60 million. Make it a habit to watch the #AskGaryVee show and be blown away! He runs VaynerMedia and is one of the most-followed Entrepreneurs on the internet.
Millionaire Entrepreneur, Speaker, best-selling author, consultant, and expert internet marketer. Also called The King of High Ticket Sales, this guy is amazing to watch and listen to.
The host of MarieTV, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist. She could motivate a dead body to life. 😊 She’s a great one to follow, too.
CEO, Editor-In-Chief of Headstart Africa (Formerly SmartBCamp), Daddy J.O is always on point with the atomic bombs he releases on his social media handles, especially on Facebook where I follow him more. Thought leader in personal development, leadership and online marketing, this one I recommend to you.
Technology Entrepreneur, Investor, and Engineer. CEO of SpaceX, and Tesla Inc., co-founder of PayPal and Neuralink where he is also CEO. Check him out on Twitter where he uses more than other social networks.
How your mindset is formed is directly linked to what you let into what I call the ‘gates to the soul.’ The gates of the soul consist of your eyes and ears, that means you should be cautious what you feed your eyes and ears. These two are to be guarded if you want to take charge of your mind. Therefore, you have to mind the books you read, the movies you watch, the music you listen to, and most importantly the people you give your ear time. All these things come together and constantly tilt your mindset towards whatever messages they come with, and that’s why you have to control the sail.
